The number of job openings in Texas for “petroleum engineers” and “geological and petroleum technicians” decreased from 632 in November 2014 to 595 in December 2014, while the searcher-to-job opening ratio also decreased from 0.89 to 0.78 in the same span.
The number of job openings in Texas for “derrick operators” and “roustabouts” decreased from 271 in November 2014 to 259 in December 2014, while the searcher-to-job opening ratio also decreased from 11.14 to 10.35 in the same span.
